Our Story
The inspiration for Counter Culture first came about in the jungles of Central America, where a young surfer
from California possessed independent and creative ideas about fashion, which developed from a lifestyle he loved.
Uninfluencedby contemporary labels and the trends ofthe day, he began to collect unique pieces whose influential designs seemed to of surpassed time.
At the turn of the millennium, CC opened its doors to the public, offering a new outlet for like-minded individuals. CC started with a grass roots marketing
campaign mongst friends and other creative individuals in the area. Today, the success of the company has struck a chord with many independent and creative
sprits in both the independent film and music industry.
Counter Culture is building a team of individuals with enthusiastic and innovative ideas that are helping to form the future of retail, by returning to its
roots. Counter Culture looks forward to expanding its presence in the future through the art, music and fashion intertwined in the lifestyle it envelopes.
